  Basket filters are a type of structurally simple, widely used coarse filtration device in pipelines. Their core principle involves placing a "basket-shaped" filter screen with appropriate aperture size in the path of the fluid flow. As the fluid passes through, impurity particles are trapped inside the filter basket, thereby purifying the fluid and protecting downstream critical equipment such as pumps, valves, and instruments.

Simple Structure, Sturdy and Durable: Typically composed of few components like the cylinder body, filter basket, and flange cover (or quick-opening blind flange). They feature mature manufacturing processes and a long service life.

High Flow Capacity, Low Pressure Drop: The straight-through internal flow path and the filter basket's large surface area result in minimal flow resistance and low-pressure loss.

Easy Maintenance and Cleaning: Most are designed to be openable. When cleaning is required, simply opening the top cover allows the filter basket to be removed for cleaning or replacement. The process is straightforward, involving short downtime.

Wide Range of Filtration Accuracy: The mesh size (number of meshes) can be selected according to requirements. Common filtration ratings range from tens to hundreds of meshes (equivalent to tens of micrometers to several millimeters), meeting various process needs.

Broad Applicability: Suitable for a wide range of liquids and gases, including water, steam, oil products, and chemical media.

Petrochemical Industry: Installed upstream of pumps to protect pumps and flow meters; used for filtering raw oil, refined products, solvents, etc.
