Customer: A winery in Mexico
Industry: Food & Beverage – Wine Production
Project Background
Our company recently secured an order from a Mexican winery for a JYPF100-10 multilayer plate and frame filter and a sanitary-grade stainless steel centrifugal pump, specifically designed for the fine filtration stage of wine production.
The winery faced two core challenges: enhancing wine clarity and effectively removing fine impurities such as pulp residues and yeast sediment without compromising flavor. In response, our engineering team conducted a detailed process evaluation and proposed a customized filtration solution tailored to the client's production environment and hygiene requirements.
Technical Solution
The supplied JYPF100-10 multilayer plate and frame filter was custom-engineered to meet the winery's specific process requirements:
10-layer filter design with φ100 mm filter plates and 19 mm inlet/outlet ports.
Equipped with 5 μm precision filter paper, including 10 installed sheets and 9 spare sets (total of 100 sheets).
Capable of efficiently removing fine particles such as fruit pulp and yeast sediment, while preserving the natural flavor and aroma of the wine.
Constructed entirely from food-grade stainless steel, with all contact surfaces mirror-polished to eliminate dead corners and prevent secondary contamination.
To ensure stable and sanitary filtration performance, the system is paired with a sanitary-grade stainless steel centrifugal pump made of 304 stainless steel. The pump provides consistent feed pressure for smooth, low-pressure operation—preventing damage to delicate wine components—while its streamlined flow channel minimizes material residue and simplifies cleaning.
Additional user-friendly features include:
Pressure gauge for real-time monitoring and pressure control.
Independent air vent for effective air discharge and continuous operation.
Compact structure and easy maintenance, ideal for small and medium-scale wineries seeking batch production efficiency.
The entire system is delivered with wooden crate packaging and is scheduled for shipment to Mexico upon final quality verification.
Customer Feedback
The Mexican client expressed high satisfaction with the filtration system's performance, build quality, and hygiene compliance. After on-site testing, the equipment demonstrated stable operation, high filtration precision, and easy maintenance—effectively improving the clarity and purity of the finished wine.
According to the customer, Junyi's professional technical recommendations and responsive communication played a crucial role in the successful project execution. The winery highlighted that the integrated "pumping–filtration" system not only improved production consistency but also reduced downtime and maintenance costs.
This project showcases Junyi's commitment to delivering hygienic, efficient, and reliable filtration solutions for the global food and beverage industry. The successful export to Mexico further strengthens Junyi's market presence in Latin America and underscores the company's growing recognition in the international sanitary filtration equipment sector.
