Our company recently customized and delivered an acid-resistant multilayer plate and frame filter for a client engaged in precious metal refining. The equipment is specifically designed for the precise separation of gold and silver powder from acidic solutions, effectively resolving long-standing issues such as low filtration efficiency, severe equipment corrosion, and insufficient recovery rates during the refining process.
 

The client primarily processes mixed solutions containing nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, with batch volumes ranging from 5 to 30 liters. Due to the strong corrosiveness of these acids, conventional small-scale filtration equipment often fails to maintain stable performance over time. In response to this challenge, our technical team conducted targeted optimization of the equipment's structure and materials.
 

The filter press is constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, allowing it to withstand direct contact with nitric and hydrochloric acid mixtures and significantly extend service life. The filtration precision is adjustable according to particle size, reaching as fine as 0.22 μm, ensuring efficient retention of gold and silver powder. Meanwhile, the compact design occupies less than 0.5 square meters, making it ideal for small refining workshops with limited space. The system features manual screw compression and manual plate pulling, ensuring reliable performance and easy operation in small-scale production environments.
